A demonstration march around the city after a rally
- Demonstrators marching in front of the headquarters of Shin-Nihon Chisso Labor Union after a rally. The nearest were members of the Housewives Group. The headquarters can be seen on the right side, and Minamata 2nd Elementary School to the left of the demonstrators.
- The street where the demonstrators once marched is now quiet. The union dissolved when the last member retired in 2005, and then the headquarters was demolished to make space for a car park for Chisso. A vacant lot behind the utility pole on the right is the site where the headquarters used to be.
