Seeing off a funeral party


- In July 1962, during the struggle over a stable wage system, Mr. Kihachiro Matsunaga (an organizer of Mitsui Chemicals Labor Union) was killed in an accident involving a sound truck. People are seeing off the funeral party, wearing black armbands. An old-model car parked behind them reminds us of the time period.
- The present towns of Ohashi and Sakuragaoka. There are more houses on the opposite shore than before.
