An encouraging speech by Chairman Kaoru Ota of the Federation of Synthetic Chemical Workers Unions
- Chairman Kaoru Ota of the Federation of Synthetic Chemical Workers Unions was making a speech on a sound track parked in Hachiman Apartment, one of the accommodations for employees of Chisso. His encouragement made a significant contribution. From August 8, regular convention of the Federation was held in Kumamoto and decided to ask every member to donate 150 yen to a labor fund.
- Hachiman Apartment still remains. There are more electricity pylons and utility poles than before.
