- Asahi-machi shopping district at year-end. Hara Shoe Shop had various sized advertising displays. The labor dispute was not settled in December, and continued into the next year but without fierce conflicts.
- The present Asahi-machi shopping district. Some shuttered shop can be seen. Hara Shoe Shop has been replaced with a drug store.
