Showa-machi
- The sidetrack used for Chisso’s private use. The cargo vehicles to move the factory products to the market ran from Minamata station of Japan National Railways to the factory inside. Only rail crossing on Old Route 3 was made due to this sidetrack. In 1965, the Minamata Police Station requested the factory install the traffic signals and it eased the traffic jam on the road.
- The old sidetrack site is completely changed. Now it is a parking lot covered with asphalt.
