Chisso-Taizan Dormitory
- The name of Jinnai (Jin: an encampemnt nai: inside) comes from the place where Minamata-jo Castle was located. Until 1965 when the borders and names of towns were altered, the name, Jinnai, remained. Chisso built the Taizan Dormitory in Jinnai especially for college graduates. Compared to the private residences around, the dormitory is a prominent feature in the landscape. There can be seen Yajiro-yama Mountain in the background.
- The Taizan Dormitory remains and is still in use. A parking lot full of cars and some cultivated fields nearby can be seen.
